Agenda

We have a packed agenda for ’Policing Under Pressure’ – here are some highlights:

Main stage

Conference will be hosted by one of the country’s most sought after facilitators, Ian Collins and will open with a live panel debate entitled 'Policing Under Pressure', which will discuss the pressure police officers have been under in the last 12-months – the police response to the pandemic; officer assaults; protests; prioritisation of the vaccine; resilience and more. After a short break, PFEW's National Chair, John Apter, will then deliver his keynote speech, alongside a senior Cabinet Minister.

The two-day agenda will be full of engaging sessions, including Trial by Media, Policing Protests, Police Recruitment, Understanding Misogyny in Policing, Inclusion and Wellbeing.

Guest speakers and panellists will discuss critical areas of focus for police officers when it comes to conduct and performance, equality, health and safety, professional development, roads policing, detective policing, wellbeing, and more.

Engage and Network

Delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions, vote in straw polls, network with other delegates, join roundtable discussions, arrange online meetings, and interact with exhibitors.

Exhibition Hall

The exhibition is organised by five zones – claims and legal; government, legislation, and police; learning and career development, member services; and practitioners. Delegates will be able to browse a range of adviser, partner, supplier, and supporter stands, download material, and make appointments. Get your 'passport stamped’ each time you visit and engage with an exhibitor to qualify for entry into a special prize draw.

Get Involved

We’re taking bookings for a wide range of exhibition and sponsorship packages, including bespoke packages on request.

Delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions, participate in polls, attend sessions in the main auditorium and/or roundtable sessions, browse the online exhibition and make appointments with exhibitors.
